Well. I did nae get the job.
Sainsbury's had the nerve to say I failed the interview process. And here I was thinking I'd made a good impression.

It was a good job for me - paid well, working nights, cig breaks, etc. Now, because they rejected me, I may have to give up my lifestyle and work day shifts. I feel depressed. Whatever.

I fail as a shelfstacker.

'James from Canada' is my new hero. ;0

So as some of you may know, I've been having troubles with my computer. I'm not suprised that this is the longest time I've ever had a computer - mostly, they last a year tops, but I've always had cheap machines. This one we actually forked out for, so it's life is super important to me. I trust it. ;-;

And when it starts making beeping noises and not recognising anything or switching on, flashing diagnostic lights, I freak out. It seemed to be getting progressively worse - first, unplugging the monitor and replugging fixed it. Then, unplugging everything non-vital and replugging. Today, nothing would work - I left everything but the power out, and it still would nae work, kept making the beeping.

I was in tears at one point, sure that these last two years of storage and -life- were gone forever. The people at Dell have always been the -best technical support ever-, but this guy had to top it. He could obviously tell how distressed I was, and went as far as to fucking walk me through surgeonning the innards of my PC. All I had to do was open up the case and switch memory sticks to the spare slots - but I have never done anything near that before. I opened it up, saw -my life- infront of me in this little box, and was shocked/terrified. I actually said, 'Oh my god, so this is my life'. I had no reference pictures - a -vocal walkthrough- that took the best part of an hour got me through it. But I fucking -did it-. It was amazing. I'm so proud of myself. I know that 70% of the people I know are computer buffs, but wow. I feel so much more.. Intermediate, now. ;-; And proud that I didn't just cry and run away and gave up, and amazed that you can actually -do- that, and no doubt fix a -lot- of problems that way and.
God.
I never knew.

So thankyou, James from Canada. Basically, you saved my life.

My computer broke down today. Again. Memory modules acting up - I'm getting sick of waking up to angry beeping noises and having to fix this shit. ;-;

In a desperate attempt to 'wait and see' I turned to my old VHS cassettes, victimising this , which was also my first ever anime. (Though I didn't know it, at the time. I was 7 and stole it from a friend.)
Like 10x better than the Disney version. :/ I want to find a subbed copy of this sheet. Want to gives me sum halp? :3

IN OTHER NEWS, I'm applying for a job at Sainsbury's. Stacking shelves in the dead of night, of all things. Lawlawl. But I am so hopeful and eager for this job - 10 hours a night, 10PM 'til 8AM, which means I can keep my lifestyle. Hope to just work 2 or 3 nights a week, and I also get smoking breaks and while I'll be heavy lifting (Building my muscles! <3), when I'm stacking low shelves I'm allowed to sit down.
